Zoo Time

Today Finley and I took my neices Abbi and Lili to the zoo for their birthday along with my mom and my sister Kim. Look at all the fun these kids are having! I recommend that if you get a chance that you go to the Ft Wayne Children's Zoo it is well worth your money!

Finley

Sorry that it has been since a long time... So for Finley's update- ornery-would be the one word to describe my son. As for his health the dr's continue to say that as long as his Cyanotic spells (blue lips, cold hands and feet) last for longer periods of time and happen more than twice a week that this is not anything to worry about. But as every mother knows it is something that you know is not normal. From the dr's (Lutheran Hospital, Dayton Children's and the Cincinnati Children's) that they have ran every test possible (ekg, eeg, Echocardiogram, blood work, mri/ct, xrays) and that there has been no sign of abnormality on these tests. As for his neutropenia (which means he has a low premature white blood cell count) we are hopefully over this we meet with the hematologist on April 14th to make sure that this is was just acute neutropenia and not cyclic or chronic. I bet nobody would ever be able to tell that this poor kid has been through the ringer since January 8th, but he is still being himself with his deep laugh, and sense of character. There will hopefully be some pictures updated here within the next couple of weeks so stay tuned for more pictures of Finley!

Four wheeling time!

Fin smiling big on his four wheeler!

This is probably my favorite picture ever! As many people say, "he looks like his dad", but I honestly don't see it or maybe it is just denial.
